PathnameAssistant is a JavaFX tool that doesn't do much at all. File-system locations can be dragged (for example, from a file manager) and dropped onto the main window of the application. The filenames or pathnames of the accumulated locations can then be copied to the system clipboard as text.

PathnameAssistant is made available under three licences:

• The contents of the uk.blankaspect.pathnameassistant package (including resources) may be used under the terms and conditions of version 3 of the GNU General Public License.
• The Roboto Mono fonts may be used under the terms and conditions of version 1.1 of the SIL Open Font License.
• All other contents of the blankaspect/pathnameAssistant repository may be used under the terms and conditions of the MIT License.
